The romance was just well done and very cute. The romance in this book is a F/F childhood friend to lovers with 3/5 level of steaminess. I love their involvement with the book and how they also brought the story together. There are many side characters in this book which I’m thinking are also in the first two books that are also LGBTQ+ reps. I enjoyed their journey throughout the novel and they had a second second at love with their miscommunication.

Boths characters are opposite but similar and I love how they both work out. Olivia is bisexual and needs a place to stay. Margot is pansexual and isn’t looking for love even though her friends are engaged. The main characters in this book are Margot and Olivia. Usually one is lacking but they balanced both genres well.

Also Bellefleaur nailed it by making this a perfect rom-com as both the romance and comedy were great. The story was easy to understand and for readers who have read the first books would love coming back to the city of Seattle. The writing style was great with a flowing storyline and a fast pacing.

Will history repeat itself or should she count her lucky stars that she gets a second chance with her first love?Ībout the Author: Alexandria Bellefleur is a bestselling and award-winning author of swoony contemporary romance often featuring loveable grumps and the sunshine characters who bring them to their knees. It has nothing to do with the fact that Olivia is as beautiful as ever and the sparks between them still make Margot tingle. When a series of unfortunate events leaves Olivia without a place to stay, Margot offers up her spare room because she’s a Very Good Person. Obviously. Never in a million years did she expect her important new client’s Best Woman would be the one that got away. However, a wedding planner job in Seattle means a fresh start and a chance to follow her dreams. At almost thirty, she’s been married… and divorced. In the decade since she last saw Margot, her life hasn’t gone exactly as planned.

It’s been ten years, but the moment they lock eyes, Margot’s cold, dead heart thumps in her chest.
